Low power design is one of the primary goals for any integrated circuits. Very Large-Scale Integration (VLSI) a kind Integrated Circuit (IC) that consists hundreds and transistor connection into small chip. The communication computer applications have grown very faster in past decade due to development VLSI circuit as microcontroller microprocessors. However, still research on are moving towards scope area minimization. paper gives an overview about recent methodologies been developed performance improvement it shows future directions areas be concentrated design.
